Rising Melbourne Alt Pop Artist Amalie brings soaring ethereal vocals and an edgy pop sound.
A voice for young people and the pressures of finding your way,
this 20 year old is solidifying herself as a truly individual and iconic Artist.
Growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, surrounded by eccentrics, creatives, and immersed in the arts, Amalie started making music full-time at the age of 15, painting and selling portraits to fund her musical pursuits.
Spending the next 2 years developing her sound and honing her craft. In 2022, she featured in and co-wrote ‘Fever’ for London production group Omnivi3es’ album ‘For The First Time’.
Amalie released her first two self-produced singles at the age of 16,
‘Am I Going Crazy’ and ‘Parachute Man’ before making her way to Byron Bay for two months to learn to busk, becoming part of its iconic busking scene. Living in her kombi, that's where she wrote her latest singles: 'Good Luck Black Cat’ and ‘So Please’. Amalie worked with (platinum award-winning producer) Garrett Kato on production.

From sharing the stage last year with some of the biggest names in Aussie music at the 2024 Brighter Days Festival, to featuring in the ABC's series ‘The Piano’.
Amalie is one to watch.
Currently evolving her sound, experimenting with contradictions and humour, Amalie's music explores themes of Individuality, freedom and finding your voice, combined with open, honest lyrics, haunting piano and a driving bass you can’t help but dance to.
Having recently worked with iconic female producers such as Ninajirachi and Olivia Regueira Garcia, Amalie has a catalog of exciting projects in the works.
In her latest project with a massive point of difference;
‘Can You Hear Me’, Amalie met and painted some of the most exciting rising voices in the industry, featuring them in one elaborate portrait to represent the Australian Emerging music industry.
She completed the painting alongside her interview series, taking a deep dive into the industry and artistic process from the perspective of emerging Artists. (Full series Available on YouTube now.)
Amalie is currently writing new music and is in the planning stages of her upcoming release.
